Walker Girls Record 1st CD

Aria (11) and Elise (8) just recently recorded their first worship CD. It was a year-long process as we chipped away at the recording bit by bit. They are both pretty shy and they haven’t really sung in church much because of that. We hear them sing around the house all the time, and Aria has been harmonizing with us behind closed doors since she was 9, so we knew they had potential and ability. The recording has really helped them gain much more confidence in their voices and it’s been really cool to see them grow and mature through the whole process. Originally, Shannon and I thought we would need to record vocals over theirs and be the actual “worship leaders” on each song with the kids’ voices just in the background, but their vocals ended up turning out so great that we didn’t have to sing 1 note. So this new CD is entirely Aria and Elise Walker, truly their “debut” recording.

Our goal through this CD was to create a tool that would give children a chance to experience worship and to learn to love & appreciate it at a young age. We saw that begin to happen in our girls even as they recorded. We’re so excited it’s now complete and we can share it with the world!
